Who wants to go camping?

Okay, I just bought an emergency tent and set it up in a nearby park to seal the seams and I'm thinking...I have a lot of EOTW (End Of The World) equipment now...why not try it out while camping for a weekend?

You know, it's great to have all the stuff but it's greater to know how it all works or if it all works.

So I want to go camping.

Here in Washington State, we can reserve camping spaces online. These things are kewl! You back your car into the space, set up your tent on a sand tent pad, stoke a fire in your fire pit and lay out your goodies on your own damn picnic table! Ahhhh, roughing it!

I think we have a Coleman propane stove. I have a sleeping bag. I have plenty of flashlights. A cooler or two.

Hmmmmm... Who wants to go?

Oh!! I LOVE camping! I've done the whole tent thing - with little kids even and had a blast. I'm ready - let's GO! (I snore, but Himself said it was "cute". My daughters on hearing what he had said begged to differ however, saying 'cute' was not anywhere near the word they would use) :)

Snore away, ladies! Once the hearing aids come out, I can't even hear Miss Significantly Other (a.k.a. "The 5:05 From Albuquerque") snore! All we need now is 'smores stuff and a couple of scary stories...

Can't do Mother's day weekend b/c the boys (I) sold $3000 worth of flowers that now need to be delivered.
Can't do the following weekend -- already camping on the beach in Wildwood -- BeachJam
Boys Scouts Girl Scouts & fams - amber's 1st camping trip :) She has her own sleeping bag with air mattress :)
How's Memorial day weekend -- too busy ??

I no sked da rain! I sealed the tent seams and everything! But, Miss Significantly Other probably wouldn't sleep in a tent anyway. We'd have to rent a yurt or cabin. I could still play with my supplies then...
