There are a few things in this world that a person simply should not do. You've heard many of them: don't spit into the wind, don't let your mother cut your hair when she's mad at your dad, don't fry bacon in the nude, don't choose the flashlight over the shotgun when investigating strange sounds in the abandoned mansion, never swallow a live carp, etc.

We can now officially add to that long list of Things Not To Do, don't take a double-dose of your blood pressure medicine.

Something distracted me as I was in the middle of my drug sucking routine yesterday morning and I couldn't for the life of me recall whether I'd taken my dose of BP meds. Figuring that I'd feel it later and know for sure, I took another dose with me in my keychain spy capsule.

Along about 11AM, I started to feel like I'd forgotten to dose myself early in the AM so I popped the take-along dose and figured I'd feel normal soon.

About an hour later I was lightheaded and a bit nauseous. I left work early and went home, calling the doc after I got in. He assured me that while a double dose of my meds was a pretty good ass-kicker, I'd probably still live. Being quite the cutup, when I told him my BP was 114/70 (normally 130/80 or 90), he exclaimed, 'That's a good blood pressure!"

Yeah if you're used to it.

I felt kinda shitty for the rest of the afternoon and evening, only coming up out of the poop pool at about bedtime - just like the doc said.

I'm pretty much ok now except that I think I'm coming down with a chest cold as my throat is scratchy and I'm coughing some.

On another front, this web site has tanked in the international standings of all websites commonly known to exist. I lost 50% of the traffic that usually hits some part on theis place which means that one of you has died.
